At StashFlow, your privacy is our top priority. We believe your financial data belongs to you and you alone. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data handling and your rights as a user.

Data Storage Philosophy

StashFlow is 100% local-first. All your portfolio data, including:

• Stock holdings and transactions
• Purchase prices and quantities
• Portfolio analytics and calculations
• User settings and preferences

...is stored exclusively on your device using ObjectBox local database. We do not have servers that store, process, or have access to your portfolio data.

What We DON'T Collect

• Portfolio data: Your stocks, transactions, and holdings
• Personal information: No names, emails, or contact details required
• Financial information: No account numbers, bank details, or brokerage credentials
• Location data: We don't track where you use the app
• Usage data: No analytics on how you use StashFlow
• Device information: No device identifiers or specifications collected

What We Collect (Minimal)

StashFlow collects minimal information necessary for app functionality:

• Crash reports: Anonymous crash logs to fix bugs (optional, can be disabled)
• Premium activation codes: If you purchase Premium, we verify the activation code

That's it. No tracking pixels, no analytics frameworks, no third-party SDKs collecting data.

Third-Party Services

StashFlow uses minimal third-party services:

• Google Play Services: For app distribution and in-app purchases (Android only)
• Advertising (Free version): Non-personalized ads from Google AdMob. Ads do not track or target based on your portfolio data

Premium users have an ad-free experience with no advertising frameworks loaded.

Data Export & Backup

You have complete control over your data:

• Export: Export your entire portfolio to CSV format at any time
• Import: Import portfolio data from CSV files
• Delete: Clear all portfolio data from the app with one tap
• Backup: Store exported CSV files wherever you choose (cloud, USB, email)

We never see your exported data. It stays in your control.

No Accounts Required

StashFlow does not require account creation, sign-up, or login. You can start using the app immediately without providing any personal information. This means:

• No passwords to remember or leak
• No email addresses collected
• No user profiles or accounts to manage
• No risk of data breaches from our servers (we don't have any!)

Children's Privacy

StashFlow does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed for adult investors managing personal portfolios. If you believe a child has used our app, please contact us.

Data Security

Since your data never leaves your device, the security of your portfolio information is determined by your device's security measures. We recommend:

• Using device lock screen protection (PIN, password, biometrics)
• Keeping your device's operating system updated
• Regularly backing up your portfolio data via CSV export
• Not sharing your device with unauthorized users

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of StashFlow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Under various privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: You can access all your data anytime (it's on your device)
• Right to Delete: Clear all data from the app's settings
• Right to Portability: Export your data to CSV format
• Right to Object: You can stop using the app at any time

Since we don't collect or store your personal data on our servers, most privacy rights are inherently protected by our architecture.
