Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using StashFlow ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

StashFlow is a local-first portfolio tracking application that allows users to:

• Track stock holdings and transactions
• Monitor portfolio performance
• Analyze investments with built-in tools
• Export and import portfolio data via CSV
• Manually update stock prices and exchange rates

All data is stored locally on your device. StashFlow does not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or real-time market data.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on devices you own or control
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Access features available in the free or premium version

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Accuracy: Enter accurate portfolio data and verify all calculations
• Backup: Regularly backup your portfolio data using CSV export
• Security: Protect your device and data with appropriate security measures
• Compliance: Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Updates: Manually update stock prices and exchange rates as needed

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• Use the App to provide services to third parties

No Investment Advice

Data Accuracy

StashFlow relies on data you manually enter. We do not verify the accuracy of stock prices, exchange rates, transaction details, or calculations. You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate portfolio information
• Updating prices and exchange rates regularly
• Verifying all calculations and analytics
• Reconciling data with official brokerage statements

We are not responsible for any losses resulting from inaccurate data entry or calculations.

Premium Features

StashFlow offers a premium version with additional features:

• Unlimited exchange rate refreshes
• Ad-free experience
• Lifetime access with one-time payment

Premium purchases are processed through Google Play and subject to their terms. Premium access is non-refundable after purchase, except as required by law or Google Play policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• Calculations or analytics are accurate or complete
• Data will not be lost or corrupted

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Investment losses or missed opportunities
• Business interruption
• Loss of portfolio data
• Errors in calculations or analytics

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Data Loss and Backups

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your portfolio data. We recommend regular CSV exports. We are not responsible for data loss due to:

• Device failure, loss, or theft
• Operating system updates or reinstalls
• App uninstallation or data clearing
• Device resets or factory restores
• Software bugs or corruption

Intellectual Property

StashFlow, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Updates and Changes

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We may also modify or discontinue features without notice. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the App at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

Third-Party Services

The App may include advertising (in the free version) and integration with Google Play Services. These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in your location.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
